Forum Quick Guide

Enable Email Notifications

  1. Go to My Profile > Notification Settings.
  2. Under POSTS, make sure EMAIL is checked to get email replies to your post comments.
  3. You can also check WEB to get in-browser notifications while you are on the site.

Set Email Subscription

  1. Go to The Forum at https://miosociety.org/social-groups/mio-society-group/forum/mios-forum/
  2. Click on the Manage Email link:
  3. Choose what frequency of email you would like to recieve and click the SAVE SETTINGS button.

Create a New Discussion

  1. Go to The Forum at https://miosociety.org/social-groups/mio-society-group/forum/mios-forum/
  2. Click on the NEW DISCUSSION button
  3. A box will appear where you may type in a title and the text of your discussion topic or question. You can use the buttons in the lower left, to add simple text formatting, attach photos, or to attach files.
  4. Click the POST button when you are finished.

Reply to a Discussion

  1. Go to The Forum at https://miosociety.org/social-groups/mio-society-group/forum/mios-forum/
  2. Click on the title of any discussion.
  3. Click on the blue REPLY button to write a reply.
  4. A box will appear where you may type in the text of your reply. You can use the buttons in the lower left, to add simple text formatting, attach photos, or to attach files.
  5. If you wish to receive email notifications when someone else replies, check the NOTIFY ME OF NEW REPLIES CHECKBOX.
  6. Click the POST button when you are finished.

Reply to a Reply

You can reply directly to another person's reply instead of to the main discussion.

  1. Go to a discussion. Scroll to the reply you wish to reply to.
  2. Hover over the upper right to see a reply button.
  3. A box will appear where you may type in the text of your reply. You can use the buttons in the lower left, to add simple text formatting, attach photos, or to attach files.
  4. If you wish to receive email notifications when someone else replies, check the NOTIFY ME OF NEW REPLIES CHECKBOX.
  5. Click the POST button when you are finished.

Subscribe to a Discussion

  1. Go to The Forum at https://miosociety.org/social-groups/mio-society-group/forum/mios-forum/
  2. Click on the title of any discussion.
  3. Click on the blue SUBSCRIBE button to get an email when someone replies to that discussion.
  4. Once subscribed, you can also click on the blue UNSUBSCRIBE button to stop receiving email notifications on new replies.

Report

Harassment or bullying behavior
Contains mature or sensitive content
Contains misleading or false information
Contains abusive or derogatory content
Contains spam, fake content or potential malware

Block Member?
